Pier South Resort-Autograph Collection, a new and hidden jewel in Imperial Beach, is proud to bring another incredible night of music in Dunes Park as part of our Ocean Concert Series!
Our next show, Gilbert Castellanos Presents: A Tribute To The Latin Jazz Masters, will feature world-class trumpeter Gilbert Castellanos, and the renowned Justo Almario on saxaphone. They'll be joined on stage by some of Southern California's brightest musicians in the scene today - Tommy Aros (congas), Irving Flores (keys), Giancarlo Anderson (timbales), Lorraine Castellanos (vocals) and Omar Lopez (bass).
Castellanos has curated an exciting and high-energy musical salute to Tito Puente, Cal Tjader, La Lupe, Mongo Santamaria, Chano Pozo and Tito Rodríguez, just to name a few! The special opening set will be performed by the talented young musicians from The International Academy of Jazz San Diego!
